Arctic Prowler New Build Project
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to participate as engineering project manager for this great project. I had been involved in many conversions and upgrades through the years. This was a great learning experience in shipbuilding and a grand exercise in attention to detail for me.

Utilizing my keen visualization skills, I had to constantly "see ahead" throughout the build to make slight changes, or sometimes major changes, and catch them early.
It takes a great amount of effort to work with a large shipyard team and multi-task with many different venders, architects, class requirements etc. Good communication is a must in a project of this magnitude.
I'm very proud of what we accomplished and it was a great moment to see her finally come out of that boat shed and into the waters of Ketchikan Alaska.
She is successfully fishing the waters of Alaska now.
